PPSIt is a polymer containing repeating structural units of p-phenylene sulfide in its molecule. PPS is a new type of functional engineering plastic.
PPS application:
It can be used as a filter fabric for industrial coal-fired boiler bag filter chambers, and as a binder for glass, steel, ceramics, aluminum, silver, chrome-plated and nickel-plated products.PPS is widely used in the manufacture of electrical parts, auto parts, precision instrument parts, various model products and laminated materials, etc.
PPS plasticIt is a thermoplastic special engineering plastic with excellent comprehensive properties. PPS is characterized by high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and superior mechanical properties.PPS is a sulfur-containing aromatic polymer. Linear PPS becomes a thermosetting plastic after cross-linking above 350°C. Branched chain structure PPS is a thermoplastic plastic.
Polyphenylene sulfide PPS is a new type of high performance thermoplastic resin Polyphenylene sulfide PPS is a crystalline polymer. The unstretched fiber has a large amorphous region (crystallinity is about 5%), PPS crystallization exotherm occurs at 125 °C, the glass transition temperature is 93 °C; melting point is 281 °C.The stretched fiber produced partial crystallization during the stretching process (increased to 30%). If PPS heat-treated the stretched fiber at a temperature of 130-230°C, the crystallinity could be increased to 60-80%.Therefore, the stretched fiber has no obvious glass transition or crystallization exotherm, and its melting point is 284 °C.With the increase of crystallinity after stretching and heat setting, the density of fibers also increases accordingly, from 1.33g/cm3 before stretching to 1.34g/cm3 after stretching, and PPS can reach 1.38g/cm3 after heat treatment
★PPS features:It is a high-performance plastic specially developed for the semiconductor industry.Especially in combination with excellent wear resistance and sliding properties, PPS material is suitable for CMP (chemical mechanical planarization/polishing) applications. In addition, PPS polymers combine excellent mechanical properties with high thermal and chemical resistance.
★PPS use:It can be used as a filter fabric for industrial coal-fired boiler bag filter chambers, and as a binder for glass, steel, ceramics, aluminum, silver, chrome-plated and nickel-plated products.Widely used in the manufacture of electrical parts, auto parts, precision instrument parts, various model products and laminated materials, etc.
★PPS features:Linear polyphenylene sulfide is a partially crystalline material that offers very high mechanical properties combined with excellent thermal and chemical resistance (continuous use up to approximately +464°F), high dimensional stability and creep strength. Its LOI is the highest among polymers. With its strength and affordability, it bridges the gap between partially crystalline industrial plastics and PEEK.Thanks to 40% glass fiber reinforcement, a strength comparable to light metals is achieved.
★PPS use:Assembly of equipment construction, pump parts, fan elements, impellers, valve balls/seats/seals, plastic parts and motor vehicle components.
